We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps and Agile Delivery providing services across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.

We are looking for a talented and dedicated technical enthusiast to join the Flight Fulfilment Services team. We are providing customer flight service applications in order to handle voluntary and involuntary changes after flight booking. We are focusing on automation, providing a single B2B user interface and creating scalable solutions for the TUI Group.

The Senior IT Business Analyst is a critical thinker with a keen eye for detail. Actively consulting with stakeholders, probing to create and communicate a common understanding of the problem that needs solving. Working within a fast-paced agile environment, the Senior IT Business Analyst thinks outside of the box, loves collaborating across teams and is a lifelong learner.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Be part of a cross-functional team delivering Flight Fulfilment Services from conception to operation.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, data analysts, business product owners, software developers, technology leads, and UX/UI designers.
  • Define, document, and communicate requirements for new changes and enhancements to digital platforms in an agile manner.
  • Use deep understanding of TUI products, systems, business models, processes, and data flows to deliver high-quality business analysis.
  • Define and document new business, user, and system requirements, considering impacts to upstream/downstream services.
  • Manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance.
  • Provide business analysis to multiple agile delivery teams and prioritize/manage complex backlogs with business product owners and technology leads.
  • Work in an international, multi-cultural team, driving for excellence, ownership, and self-organization at team and personal levels.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in your focus areas and actively participate in the Business Analyst community.
  • Practice secure behaviors in all tasks as part of TUI's commitment to security.

ABOUT YOU

  • Professional experience in a similar position required. A degree in (business) informatics or another technical field is nice to have.
  • Experience working for a GDS, airline, or travel company with a deep understanding of post-booking processes.
  • Experience with airline systems like New Skies, and GDS systems like Amadeus and Farelogix.
  • Strong knowledge of NDC, NDC-X, JSON, XML, CSV.
  • Good knowledge of API technologies like REST, SOAP, and Postman.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen. Able to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of spoken and written English required. Knowledge of German language is nice to have.
  • Experience with microservice architecture and AWS services is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with tour operator and airline business systems like @comRes, Mercado, airCruiser, and airQuest is beneficial.
