You’ll drive sales strategies, boost agency performance, and create innovative concepts – both online and offline. ABOUT THE JOB

  • Contact person and support of agencies/partners for all flight topics and flight products of TUI Netherlands. Consideration of the flight sales strategy/planning for the sales area to be supported (Netherlands)
  • Expert advice and support as a sales force (in person, by phone, NL, mail, webinars for groups, etc.) - hybrid forms (on- & offline)) as well as consistent implementation of operational & strategic support content and marketing objectives
  • Proactive contacting (by telephone, NL, email, webinars for groups, in person, etc.) of travel agencies according to a master plan with identification of opportunities to increase performance and know-how
  • Sales monitoring, sales and profit increase of the agencies
  • Acquisition of new sales partners, agencies, TO, etc.
  • Identification and development of new customer segments and product content to open up additional market shares in coordination with superiors and the Commercial Retail Sales department.
  • Recognising technical and process-related potential for improvement and passing this on to internal departments
  • Presentation and placement of own products with our agencies and the TUI organisation
  • Collecting and defining strategic and operational topics for sales campaigns as well as planning and managing a cross-channel action plan
  • Participation and realisation of product, airline and system training courses, conferences, trade fairs, events
  • Interlocking with the TUI NL sales team (tour operator) to utilise mutual synergies.
  • Further development of sales concepts in accordance with the sales strategies in co-operation and coordination with superiors and the Commercial Retail Sales department.
  • Conception of previous types of support as well as face-to-face events in digital form (content, form, costs/revenue management)
  • Negotiating and agreeing incentives and advertising allowances as part of the budgeting process in consultation with line managers and the Commercial Retail Sales department.
  • Identification and derivation of agency-specific development potentials
  • Conception and implementation of sales-promoting measures and instruments to leverage this potential with the help of the allocated WKZ budget
  • Conflict resolution in the event of problems, identifying escalation issues and deriving recommendations for action as well as monitoring, consolidating and communicating the sales mood, including detailed reporting
  • Market and competition monitoring incl. detailed reporting and derivation of recommendations for action
  • Project work

ABOUT YOU

  • Completed training as a tourism clerk or in a similar commercial field
  • Very good knowledge in the consolidator area
  • Several years of professional experience in sales
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Good knowledge of Amadeus GDS
  • Knowledge of Internet-based media (IBE'S) desirable
  • Business fluent in English
