Job Description

Are you the next rock star of the Finnish travel industry? We at TUI are looking for a passionate Sales Executive for the Finnish market. As a Sales Executive you are responsible for short-term operational sales planning and execution. The purpose of the role is to drive sales performance and pro-actively act on deviation against the short-term sales plan together with the Sales Lead and the Sales & Market Analyst. As a Sales Executive you will steer and optimize short-term sales in cooperation with E-commerce, Marketing, Trading (revenue management) and other relevant Sales Channels, when needed. You will contribute to the delivery of sales targets for all our products lines. You will adapt the Nordic Sales Plan to the local market and its defining features.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Short-term sales planning, incl. sales activities and campaigns, with focus on having the right distribution mix and sales channel split
  • Proactively monitor and optimize short-term performance in all sales channels
  • Process and analyse sales and market data
  • Optimize sales to maximise conversion and profitability
  • Update local teams on sales plans and short-term activities
  • Coordinate sales and marketing activities, e.g. with local partners
  • Produce debriefs from different activities with the Sales & Market Analyst
  • Operative support for the Sales Lead
  • Collaborate with different Nordic and local stakeholders
  • Support local sales teams when required

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s (or master) degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience from driving commercial growth within a Sales & Marketing team
  • Affinity for numbers
  • Understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing and data
  • Experience from working in a large international business, and in a matrix organisation
  • Experience in building relationships across a company to influence stakeholders outside of direct lines of responsibility
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Committed and positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good communication skills in local language (Finnish) and in English
