ABOUT THE JOB

As a Quality Executive, you will be responsible for managing and conducting UAT/Business testing, focusing on our post-booking journeys. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure successful test preparation and test execution.
• Exploratory testing of your product area.
• Owner of quality, for future deliveries and the live experience. You will ensure that you have relevant reports available on defects in development, and live, and understanding of the digital analytics and the customer feedback for your area.
• Test reporting to stakeholders, whilst also ensuring that defects/issues are prioritised and scheduled for delivery.
• Monitoring the quality of the digital selling platform in production, ensuring that production defects or opportunities are captured and prioritised in the backlog.
• Understand the source of the defects, so that the defects can be resolved as quickly as possible, ensuring the least disruption to the test execution schedule.
• Understand the potential impact of any defect delivered into Production, therefore using this to determine the priority of the defects.
• Agreeing Acceptance criteria for new stories, and approval of those acceptance criteria through the agile process.
• During test sign off, work alongside business stakeholders so that they fully understand any risks associated to a defect entering into Production together with any mitigating actions.

ABOUT YOU

• An inquisitive individual with proven experience in a testing role and a good understanding of ecommerce.
• Experience of working in a development/product life cycle with a good understanding, and appreciation of agile methodology.
• Previous experience working with TUI UK and Ireland mainstream IT and business systems is desirable, but not essential.
• An analytical skill set would be beneficial, preferably with experience in web analytics such as Adobe Analytics & Qualtrics.
• The ability to manage your own time in a demanding, time-sensitive role and work comfortably within an environment of ambiguity and a high degree of complexity.
• Good communication skills with the confidence to challenge decisions where necessary.
• Strong organisational skills with a great attention to detail and appreciation of auditing and reporting capability.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (the successful candidate will need to work early mornings to support Production Go-Live implementation).
