Job Description

This role is responsible for driving and delivering process improvement for transactional processes within Accounts Payble with a measurable impact on process efficiency & quality.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Continuous improvement cycles: You will be responsible for delivering improvement cycles (DMAIC) together with a variety of stakeholders on behalf of the process owner(s). For that purpose, you will apply Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies.
  • Business Process Master expert in transformation projects: You will participate in assigned strategic transformation projects to ensure that To-Be processes are defined, documented, tested, trained & rolled out.
  • Process Excellence ambassador & coach: You will act as a sparring partner & coach for the process champions in your functional area. You will enable them to deliver self-empowered incremental improvements by creating awareness & building a KPI-based process-thinking mindset in the organisation.
  • Improvement identification & prioritization: You will engage with all key stakeholders to identify potential process improvement opportunities. Further on you will participate in the prioritisation process owned by process owners & the Senior Manager Process Excellence.
  • Improvement techniques & methodologies: You will be a renowned expert in application & development of process excellence methodologies & tools, and you will engage closely with experts on process mining, robotics, AI etc. and involve them as required.
  • Documentation & learning: You will coordinate & contribute to the maintenance of all process documentation to create complete, user-friendly & up-to-date process documentation.

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree in business, economics, computer science or similar
  • Proven experience in applying continuous improvement, business process management Lean Six Sigma methodologies (ideally with a L6S certification) in a multinational corporate environment.
  • Experience in application of agile principles & ways of working desirable
  • Ability to achieve buy-in from stakeholders through building long-term trustful relationships.
  • An engaging can-do communication approach that overcomes resistance to change and that motivates the organization to thrive for continuous improvement and process excellence
  • A very good understanding and ideally previous practical working experience in a transactional finance (O2C, P2P, R2R, Treasury) environment
  • Good analytical skills and ability to incorporate KPI-based thinking into the Process Excellence approach, ability to extend that mindset to other stakeholders
  • Fully fluent in English, capable to deliver extensive documentation, presentations, workshops & trainings. Other languages (German, Spanish, French) are a plus
