Join our dynamic Operations and Delivery Team in Baltimore and Norfolk as a Port Delivery Manager. In this role, you will oversee seamless port operations, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services, effective team management, and efficient logistics across our ports. Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Regional Director, holds first-line responsibility for ensuring the smooth execution of all port, airport, hotel, transfer, and shore excursion operations, as well as managing day-to-day team performance and addressing operational issues in real-time.

  • Lead and coordinate smooth port operations, including managing airport, hotel, transfers, and shore excursions, ensuring efficient processes and seamless teamwork among staff.
  • Manage and oversee a team of 100-150 employees to plan staffing levels according to operational needs, ensuring appropriate resources are available for each operation.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing communication with cruise ships and key internal and external stakeholders, including port authorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers and other commercial colleagues to foster strong relationships with cruise lines, ensuring valuable feedback is collected and acted upon.
  • Handle last-minute operational changes at the pier, ensuring suppliers and teams are promptly informed and prepared to adapt.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed to support overall port operations.
  • Complete administrative tasks as required by Intercruises and its clients, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with internal procedures, and meeting deadlines.
  • Oversee and manage operations by ensuring timelines and milestones are adhered to, utilizing a "Management by Walking Around" (MBWA) approach to maintain hands-on supervision and real-time monitoring.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed to support overall operations.

About You:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team toward achieving operational success.

  • Strong experience in cruise line operations would be desirable
  • Comfortable managing change and adaptable in the face of ambiguity or challenges.
  • Problem-solver with the ability to propose improvements and contribute to a digitally driven culture.
  • Capable of balancing strategic projects with daily logistical demands.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate the team during high-pressure port operations.
  • Professional, flexible, and solution-oriented with a helpful and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; fluency in an additional local language is a plus.
