The People Data Analyst is an exciting opportunity in a global, dynamic organisation providing advanced data & analytics solutions to our internal TUI stakeholders. As the People Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing efficient solutions to provide rich data & insights to support TUI’s People Agenda. You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time as we embark on an ambitious People Analytics transformation. The People Data Analyst builds effective partnerships with stakeholders to understand business processes, what does/doesn’t work, where opportunities exist that analytics products could support, to guide stakeholders on how to use the tools and to support increased data analytics maturity across TUI.

ABOUT THE JOB
- The People Data analyst role is a senior role within the HR Reporting and People Analytics team, responsible for “Business As Usual” and ad hoc requests and a team member on some projects.
- The role requires a high attention to detail and is highly analytical; prioritising the highest of quality by building mechanisms into your work to ensure premium data quality, while also questioning and interrogating the data to discover insights that drive “so what” and “now what” discussions.
- The People data analyst will build analytics solutions using SQL, Tableau Prep and Tableau (amongst other tools), sourcing data from a variety of sources, including Successfactors. The implementation of the People Datawarehouse is in progress and will form a critical part of our future analytics infrastructure.
- The role regularly communicates with stakeholders throughout the organisation and delivers insights to them verbally, in writing and in presentation formats. You and the team will be responsible for identifying trends and observations from the completed analysis and facilitating conversations on these findings with the HR team.
- You will be a champion of data governance and data literacy. You will lead the democratisation of people analytics and the upskilling of stakeholder data literacy throughout the organisation.
- You will ensure there are effective pipelines between other HR, Business & third-party provider systems, e.g. SuccessFactors, Sharepoint, Finance, etc. Data engineers within the team support the construction of these pipelines.
- Define requirements, develop technical specifications, document test scripts and conduct data flow analysis.
ABOUT YOU
- You demonstrate enthusiasm & energy, have a customer first mindset, a strong team player and easy to do business with.
- A critical thinker and an expert at effectively converting key data insights into recommendations.
- Able to tell a story with data that drives meaningful discussion and action.
- Proficiency in building dashboards within Tableau, Power BI or similar
- A solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases, data warehouses and data lakes.
- Advanced knowledge of MS apps including Excel, Access (inc. VBA), Sharepoint & Power Automate.
- A continuous improvement focus; a strong desire to standardize, simplify and automate analytics & processes.
- High attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to negotiate and manage conflicting deadlines/priorities
