Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and passionate Marketing Executive to join our office in Oslo. If you want to be part of our journey to create world-class marketing communications and activities while helping to develop and expand the travel industry’s leading brand, this role is for you.

This role is a maternity leave cover from 241201 – 250930

As a Marketing Executive, your role will involve planning and executing local brand activities and events, as well as creating buzz-worthy initiatives in the Norwegian market to strengthen our brand, increase awareness, drive consideration, and boost sales. You will also be responsible for translating and localizing Nordic brand campaigns and social media content, and you will work in collaboration with stakeholders to produce impactful content toolkits for local sales campaigns.

You will be part of the Marketing Activation team and will report to the Nordic Marketing Activation Lead. You will work closely with the Nordic Marketing Activation Manager and Marketing Executives in other Nordic markets. This role also involves close collaboration with other units within our Marketing team, as well as cross-functional work with our internal channel owners.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Marketing Executive, you will:

  • Own the planning, development, production, and execution of brand and marketing communication activities for the Norwegian market, ensuring alignment with mid and long-term KPIs, market trends, and strategic goals.
  • Translate and adapt Nordic brand campaigns to resonate with the Norwegian market, ensuring cultural relevance and impact.
  • Translate, produce, and publish engaging organic social media content tailored to the Norwegian audience.
  • Organize and execute local brand events and activities, both online and offline, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Drive local media execution with a keen understanding of market-specific nuances to optimize reach and impact.
  • Develop compelling editorial content for mid-funnel channels, and produce toolboxes with visuals, copy, and unique selling points for sales campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Nordic Marketing team, internal channel owners, and other marketing units to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts across the board.
  • Package content for digital mid funnel channels, such as paid social and display ads
  • Consistently meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality content standards.

ABOUT YOU

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant degree in marketing, brand management, or a related field.
  • Strong of experience in marketing- or content creative packaging, develop and execute marketing campaigns and events.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience in content and media production across multiple channels.
  • A strong commercial mindset, with a passion for crafting creative and effective communication strategies.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Native in Norwegian and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus
