Job Description
We are seeking for a motivated and passionate student to join our sustainability team. In this 3 to 6 month role, you will conduct comprehensive water risk assessments for various TUI destinations worldwide. Your work will directly contribute to our understanding of water-related challenges, including drought, scarcity, and pollution risks, helping us make informed decisions to support sustainable tourism practices.

About the job
- Conduct water risk assessments for multiple TUI destinations using open-source tools such as the Water Risk Atlas (World Resources Institute) and the WWF Water Risk Filter.
- Analyze water-related risks, including drought, water scarcity, water quality, and other relevant factors impacting tourism operations.
- Identify high-risk areas and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable water usage.
- Collaborate with TUI
- Sustainability team to align your findings with broader environmental strategies and goals.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on your findings, highlighting key risks and proposing actionable solutions.
About you
- You are pursuing a relevant degree, such as environmental science, water management, sustainability, or a related field.
- You possess strong analytical skills and can interpret and report data effectively.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
