Job Description

The way we work across TUI Group Airlines is changing. Our goal in Inflight Supply Chain is to be the single service provider to the TUI Group Airlines for all on-board supply chain needs. The aim is to capitalise on our collective size to deliver economies of scale, fostering a common culture of excellence in quality and delivery, whilst enabling the TUI Tour Operators of each Source Market to drive revenue growth and meet customer satisfaction targets. We will work with suppliers of choice, operating with transparency and control, to enable activity based charging and a KPI-driven team of supply chain experts.
Inflight Supply Chain is part of the wider TUI Group Crew, Customer & Inflight Services (CCIS), responsible for providing a high standard customer experience on board. Inflight Services is responsible for defining service models, selecting on board products and setting up catering processes. As a member of the Western Region IFSC Operations Delivery team , you are responsible to optimise the current TUI Airlines’ inflight service operations, be the local contact person for end to end solutions for operational queries while also being responsible for cross airline common service suppliers in source market or resort uplift stations. The Western Region Inflight Supply Chain team is focussing on all operations out of Netherlands, Belgium, France, Morocco and several smaller catering operations at the TUI destinations.
We are happy to consider this role on a hybrid working model with at least 2-3 days per week office based each week plus onsite Airport checks as required.
This opportunity is offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract Basis.

ABOUT THE JOB
Your role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Manage third-party contracted services to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- Drive operational cost efficiencies and achieve KPI and customer satisfaction targets.
- Oversee local supply chain operations, ensuring effective delivery of goods and handling short notice requirements.
- Support service, product, and seasonal changes according to customer requirements.
- Travel as needed, sometimes on short notice, to test onboard catering processes and support ad-hoc flights.
- Conduct monitoring activities, including aircraft and service supplier visits, SLA reviews, and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead assigned projects to ensure continuous improvement in operations within the Dutch market and the wider Western Region and TUI Group team.
- Identify potential risks to the business and ensure contingency plans are in place and implemented as required.
ABOUT YOU
- Substantial relevant experience, preferably including Subject Matter Expertise for specific fields, e.g. Supply Chain Coordination, Aviation Operations, Catering and Product
- Experience coordinating the delivery of complex operations maintaining effective monitoring procedures; plans for problems or risks before they arise and works with service partners to spot and resolve issues before impacting on business performance
- Bachelor degree as a minimum, preferably in logistics or aviation.
- To form part of the on-call team, 24/7 availability on a 3-4 week cycle
- Hold a cat B driving license
- Confidence and calm when faced with stressful or high pressure situations; responds efficiently to complex challenges or crises
- Capacity to support the transformation of existing complex and obscure supply chain arrangements into transparent, flexible and controlled networks. Confident in exploring new, unfamiliar ideas and delivering radical change in difficult business environments
- Experience of planning and coordinating complex actions plans, ensuring working practices and methods are clearly structured and organized to deliver to multiple internal external customers.
- Cultural sensitivity, with experience of working as part of a pan-European team and worldwide service suppliers
- A quick learner as you will be working individually on your own assigned responsibilities within the operations and need to get a fast understanding of our complex operations
- Proficient in English and Dutch. Any other language and cultural knowledge is beneficial.
