Job Description

Are you ready to set sail on an exciting career journey with Marella Cruises, the UK's second largest cruise line? With nearly three decades of sailing experience and a fleet that takes over 350,000 customers to 125 destinations worldwide each year, we're looking for a visionary Head of Cruise Transformation & Change to steer our ambitious expansion plans and lead us into a new era of growth and innovation.

This newly created role is a direct result of our ambitious strategic growth plans and our appetite to increase market share, guest satisfaction, and profitability through innovation and investment in new technology. As an influential and integral part of the Marella Cruise Board, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our future.

If you're ready to make waves in the cruise industry and lead Marella Cruises through an exciting period of growth and transformation, we want to hear from you. This role will be published until 2nd February 2025

ABOUT OUR OFFER

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.
  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment.
  • A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.
  • Broaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams.
  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead and oversee Marella Cruises' transformation strategy, including our high profile fleet expansion plans
  • Act as the gatekeeper and single point of contact for the overall transformation plan, working closely with the Cruise Board and key stakeholders across the TUI group
  • Design and implement a robust governance structure to ensure collaborative decision-making and effective project management
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication of change initiatives and their impact on the business
  • Drive decision-making processes by presenting scenario plans and options, balancing operational needs with strategic goals
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the transformation team

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven leadership experience in driving complex business change projects across various areas
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with high-level decision-making skills and a focus on commercial viability
  • Collaborative approach with a track record of successfully managing teams in a matrix environment
  • Resilient and adaptive, with strong interpersonal skills to navigate changing priorities
  • Customer-centric mindset, balancing internal and external needs with commercial objectives

From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.
