Fleet & Capacity Management is key in ensuring that, across the TUI airlines, we have the right aircraft accessible at the best possible economics, in order to meet operational needs and give the best experience to our customers. As a Fleet Data Analyst you will support the Fleet & Capacity Management team to deliver this goal.
This role will be responsible for supporting various team activities through ensuring the availability of accurate fleet-related data on a timely basis and providing analysis and insights from the data.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will report to the Manager - Fleet Management in FCM and will work closely with colleagues across Europe on projects related to TUI Group’s fleet.
• Support the Manager - Fleet Management and Analyst – Fleet Management in the preparation and maintenance of strategic and operational fleet plans for the various TUI Group airlines.
• Update and maintain the aircraft database to ensure it reflects the latest fleet status and is available to support timely decision-making.
• Support the creation and maintenance of additional databases for use in fleet planning scenarios and analysis, e.g. maintenance event costs, aircraft utilisation, standby aircraft usage, tactical and operational AMCI usage and costs etc.
• Support the evaluation of using ACMI / charter aircraft versus in-house aircraft to fulfil tour operator demand, and provide greater visibility of External Capacity Providers (ECPs) used within TUI Group.
• Help ensure that timely decisions and business cases are made for the usage of contractual terms on OEM and finance contracts e.g. purchase options / lease extension options / call options by ensuring these are captured accurately and reported on a timely basis for action.
• Build and maintain a knowledge centre/database to have a central reference for aircraft seat rates for all types in the TUI Group fleet, which is updated on a regular basis. This will also incorporate seat rates for other types which are not operated by TUI, based on assumptions and inputs from the OEMs.
• Participate in the evaluation of new aircraft types which may be introduced to TUI Group’s fleet.
• General support of ad hoc business cases produced by FCM to deliver TUI Group’s fleet requirements.
• Support Quarterly reporting requirements within FCM by producing various reports from fleet databases for use across the TUI Group, including key stakeholders of Investor Relations, Group Treasury and Group Accounting.
• Support the Analyst – Fleet Management with regards to various reports and processes related to preparation of payment orders related to aircraft lease rentals and other fleet-related payments.
ABOUT YOU
• Highly numerate and analytical individual
• Proficient in use of Excel, Powerpoint
• Knowledge of databases, data query tools e.g. VBA would be advantageous
