The TUI Airline Finance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.
As Finance Analyst – Inflight Services you will support the Commercial Finance Manager with the provision of commercial and financial information and provide business partnering support to the Customer, Cabin and Inflight Services Retail team. You will be required to analyse and evaluate data, assist in the preparation of forecasts & budgets and support an accurate month end close process through collaboration with various stakeholders.
You will be required to support the delivery and growth of margin onboard by providing the data to allow business partners to make fact-based decisions. A key part of the role will be turning data into valuable insight which will enable key strategic decisions to be made about our onboard retail business, working closely with our data analytics team.

ABOUT THE JOB
As Finance Analyst – Inflight Servies you’ll:
Assist in the delivery of the TUI Airline month end, forecast, budget and 3YP process for the Inflight Services Retail business
Support the harmonisation of activities and processes within your area of finance to ensure a consistent function led approach. Working in close collaboration with business partners to ensure consistency and commonality across the regions.
Provide business partnering support to key Customer, Cabin and Inflight Services stakeholders
Produce and contribute data and insight to the monthly KPI and reporting packs to enable functional business partnering and monitor margin growth across all product ranges.
You will ensure comprehensive knowledge of underlying drivers of sales and impact on retail operation (onboard & pre order) and streaming & connectivity in each market, including impact of concepts, hauls and commission structures, to provide a platform from which markets performance can be compared on a like for like basis.
You will provide insight of clear performance trends to the function highlighting trends, forecasted gaps vs. budget.
You will use Tableau and TUI Group tools for reporting, MI and analytics, in order to develop insight based on data to contribute to cost efficiencies or margin growth.

ABOUT YOU
Part / nearly qualified accountant or ideally a university degree in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling, and a couple years of experience working in finance/controlling
A self-starter with strong problem solving skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Good analysis and presentational skills
Ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral)
Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-channel consumer environment
Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel
