Job Description

Application Closing Date: 4th February, 2025. Please note that due to a high number of applications we might need to close the role ealier than the application closing date - so don't delay!

The TUI Hotels & Resorts Distribution team manages the sales and marketing for our owned and joint venture hotel brands, including AQI, TUI MAGIC LIFE, and TUI Blue (internally referred to as "M3"). With TUI Group’s strategic focus on expanding its fully controlled hotels and clubs, ensuring strong commercial performance through optimal channel management and pricing is essential.

As a Commercial Executive, your primary goal will be to enhance the profitability of the TUI Hotels & Resorts portfolio. You’ll achieve this by analysing sales and revenue data, supporting discussions with new partners — particularly third-party tour operators — and identifying opportunities in emerging markets where TUI’s presence is limited.

ABOUT OUR OFFER

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.

  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment.

  • A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.

  • Broaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams

  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Analyse weekly sales and financial reports for TUI hotels and competitor properties to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support the achievement of optimal bed utilization across all hotels by maintaining regular contact with hotels and partners.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the commercial and operational environment within TUI Hotels & Resorts.
  • Research and interpret data on gateway markets, international demand trends, and capacity changes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor hotel occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), forecasts, and other performance metrics to recommend improvements and support the achievement of hotel targets.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency or profitability across the business.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for hotel information, ensuring continuous communication with partners and promoting the group’s hotel portfolio.
  • Review current international contract terms and conditions, highlighting areas for improvement or new opportunities.

ABOUT YOU

  • A collaborative team player who can also work effectively and independently when required.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and genuine enthusiasm for taking on tasks and challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in common computer applications, including a solid understanding of MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally, both within the UK and internationally, for events and meetings with hotel partners.

*From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.*

*We are committed to supporting candidates with disabilities and impairments so if you require any support, please do let us know.*
