Job Description

We are looking for a talented and dedicated technical enthusiast to join our TUI Flight Fulfillment Services Team in Bremen with immediate effect. We are providing customer flight service applications in order to handle voluntary and involuntary changes after flight booking. We are focussing on automation in this exciting as well as complex environment and creating scalable solutions for TUI Group with its own airline TUIfly and various scheduled flight providers.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Within a cross-functional team you deliver Flight Fulfillment Services from conception to deployment and operate across multiple markets in a global structure
  • You clearly define, document and communicate business-, user- and system-requirements to enable implementation of new changes and enhancements to our digital platforms
  • You’re responsible for evaluating solution options, taking into account business needs as well as development perspective and possibilities for technical realization
  • Using your deep understanding of systems and processes, you contribute to the ongoing delivery of growth and digital transformation across our key markets
  • You manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance
  • In close collaboration with the Business Product Owner and Technology Lead, you prioritize and manage the complex work tasks that arise

ABOUT YOU

  • You have a degree in (business) informatics
  • Strong analytical skills allow you to quickly understand complex problems and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a target group-oriented manner
  • Methods of requirements elicitation, commercial and technical process modelling and test/use case writing are no foreign words for you
  • You are highly skilled in communication techniques, including experience or openness to also workshop facilitation
  • You already gained experience in creating, analyzing and validating detailed functional specifications and elements of system design, including in particular data and business rules
  • Creation of user stories, epics and acceptance criteria/scenarios is not new ground for you
  • Common project management tools, agile delivery methods tools (Jira, Confluence) and agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) are familiar to you
  • You already gained professional experience related to post-booking processes in air travel industry and are familiar with systems like New Skies, Amadeus and Farelogix (ideally also with @comRes, Mercado, airCruiser and airQuest) and know NDC as well as NDC-X data formats
  • A good understanding of known data exchange formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and API technologies (REST, SOAP, postman) is essential
  • You are familiar with database queries (SQL), microservice architecture and AWS services
