ABOUT THE JOB
- As a Junior Aircraft Mechanic at TUI, you'll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structures, mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
- Working in accordance with approved technical documentation and company procedures, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.
- Maintain and promote a just culture of responsibility, accountability, and company values.
- Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently while upholding high standards of quality.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs in compliance with regulations, engineering procedures, and approved technical documentation.
- Identify, store, and process parts removed from aircraft according to company processes and procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and sign-off of completed work at the end of each shift.
- Comply with all relevant company, regulatory, and aircraft procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Return all equipment to storage areas, identify any defects, and ensure all tools and equipment are returned daily.
ABOUT YOU
- Aeronautics degree or equivalent qualification.
- Flexibility in working hours to align with TUI Group Winter Maintenance Planning.
- Knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulation and understanding of SMS requirements.
- Understanding of Human Factors within the aircraft maintenance environment.
- Strong communication skills, preferably with fluency in Dutch or French.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and requirements.
- Excellent understanding of aircraft technical data and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in computer systems and company operating engineering systems.
