About the Job
As a Junior Aircraft Mechanic at TUI, you'll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structures, mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems. Working in accordance with approved technical documentation and company procedures, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.
- Maintain and promote a just culture of responsibility, accountability, and company values.
- Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently while upholding high standards of quality.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs in compliance with regulations, engineering procedures, and approved technical documentation.
- Identify, store, and process parts removed from aircraft according to company processes and procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and sign-off of completed work at the end of each shift.
- Comply with all relevant company, regulatory, and aircraft procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Return all equipment to storage areas, identify any defects, and ensure all tools and equipment are returned daily.
About You
- Aeronautics degree or equivalent qualification.
- Flexibility in working hours to align with TUI Group Winter Maintenance Planning.
- Knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulation and understanding of SMS requirements.
- Understanding of Human Factors within the aircraft maintenance environment.
- Strong communication skills, preferably with fluency in Dutch or French.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and requirements.
- Excellent understanding of aircraft technical data and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in computer systems and company operating engineering systems.
