Join us as a Network Engineer!

This is an important role requiring experience with Cisco routing/switching hardware, assuring the uptime and availability of Transcom´s multinational network of sites and Data Centres.

  • Participation in configuring firewalls, routers and switches

  • Implementation of Network Changes under ITIL best practices

  • Assisting in deployment and maintenance of next generation IPS/IDS systems

  • Conducting Product Lifecycle Maintenance globally for network and security devices

  • Continually updating the internal knowledge base

  • Participating in meetings with project managers, stakeholders and customers

  • Providing technical support for 2nd level escalations

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in complex problem analysis with global/enterprise network issues

  • Proven ability to define and drive the deployment of network infrastructure based on customer requirements

  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies

  • Certification in at least CCNA R&S, Security or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Experience in troubleshooting Cisco platforms

  • Ability to conduct product Lifestyle Maintenance for network and security devices globally

  • Contact Center/Servic e-provider/customer-facing environment experience is an advantage

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
