Job Description

OVERVIEW

*THIS IS A NEW ROLE IN A NEW DEPARTMENT SO THE SHORT-TERM FOCUS WILL BE ON ESTABLISHING OUR OFFERING AND BUILDING UP A BASE OF PROGRAMMATIC CLIENTS FROM BOTH EXISTING AND NEW BUSINESS.

The Head of Programmatic is responsible for overall Programmatic department performance. Their focus will be to refine our offering and drive continuous improvements across growth (revenue, team) and quality (delivery, services). They should champion the value of Programmatic internally and externally and be the leader of Programmatic for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

COMMERCIAL

  • Own the Programmatic P&L
  • Achieve profitable and consistent growth
  • Make commercial department decisions that factor in targets and margin

CLIENTS

  • Build strong relationships with existing Programmatic clients
  • Ensure existing client portfolio is retained
  • Maximise potential growth opportunities
  • Be the go-to and escalation point for any client issues

TEAM

  • Recruit, line manage and develop senior and junior members of the team
  • Cultivate an effective team culture that aligns with key values
  • Manage the available resource in the team
  • Own the strategic team planning roadmap
  • Own the hiring process (need assessment, budget, interview, offering)
  • Resolve issues with any underperforming team members

DELIVERY

  • Ensure that Found Programmatic activity is exceptional across all clients
  • Nurture key partner relationships
  • Constantly look for new ways that we can improve our approach
  • Identify any tech or tools that could be of benefit to us

NEW BUSINESS

  • Assess the suitability of potential opportunities
  • Create slides, forecasts and department commercials for pitch decks
  • Pitch to prospects (virtual or in-person)
  • Work with marketing to be the face of Found Programmatic

COLLABORATION

  • Aid with overall Paid Performance department growth by working closely with the Head of Paid Performance, Head of PPC, Head of Paid Social and Paid Performance Operations Director
  • Be an active member of the Found Leadership Team to ensure wider business success
  • Develop a close relationship with Growth so as to maximise client service quality, client retention and upsell opportunities
  • Partner with Found’s sister agencies to advance Programmatic services: Braidr, Disrupt
