WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE

Of course, we know that McDonald’s is a global icon. A truly amazing brand recognised the world over. However, with increased competition, tough economic times and competitors copying the winning Happy Meal formula, McDonald’s now has to deliver beyond the traditional toy in a box with more exciting, innovative and inspiring activation. We are constantly looking for new ways to make the Happy Meal box an engaging learning experience for kids and their families. We challenge ourselves to think about which licensors we can partner with such as Universal, Lego, Barbie etc. to ensure that the promotions we offer can achieve this.

Finally, we guarantee that you will leave changed. Because we help our people achieve their goals.

So come here to experience. To experiment. To make mistakes. To challenge your own limits.

As an Account Director for the Global Family Team, you will be integral to delivering best in class retail communications for family centred campaigns. You will be responsible for leading and developing key events in the Global marketing calendar and you will be comfortable leading this from the front. From strategic development and understanding business challenges, to translating them into communication opportunities, looking at every touchpoint we have to connect the McDonald’s brand with families and kids.

You will be expected to engage and support brand planning processes, working with clients to help uncover business issues and develop a compelling strategy to deliver market-leading campaigns with an ‘ideas first’ approach.

By understanding the client business, you will also be expected to help develop proactive solutions to share with the client, creating new business and creative opportunities for TMS.
