We are seeking an ’Account Manager’ to join our team and be a key player in driving our business & supporting our client McDonald’s within the dedicated markets on packaging as well as growth categories.

Your primary objective is to provide exceptional service that aligns seamlessly with both tms and McDonald's overarching strategic framework . This role is client facing and you would join a small and dynamic team which is part of a larger, globally operating company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Take charge of ensuring the successful delivery of our services in your assigned market(s), adhering to market-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and promptly resolving any operational issues that may arise. Your focus will be on meeting and surpassing our clients' expectations.
  • Client Satisfaction and Relationship Management: Prioritize client satisfaction and oversee the health of our relationships with all collaborators at McDonald's. Take a proactive approach to address challenges and develop comprehensive plans to enhance client engagement and loyalty
  • Strengthening Customer Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with all local collaborators across McDonald's Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, Communication and local franchisees when possible. Solidify our position as a strategic and valued partner.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate effectively with McDonald's and tms’ functions to resolve complex issues between different departments, ensuring seamless operations and reinforcing our commitment to delivering value.
  • Business Growth Initiatives: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in collaboration with McDonald's. Proactively propose innovative services and strategically expand existing categories to capitalize on market potential and foster growth.
  • Strategic Market Insights: Navigate the dynamic global and market landscape strategically, identifying win/win solutions that benefit our customers and drive sustainable growth for our company.
  • Provide regular feedback: to your line manager and align with them on strategic decisions.

Your role is instrumental in shaping our market presence and forging strong partnerships. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in positioning us for continued success and growth within McDonald’s.

Skills and experience we would like you to have

  • Proven Business Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in an account management role or a category management role with client interaction, preferably within the packaging industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or similar field.
  • Customer Focus: A strong customer-focused, service-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Multilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in European languages is advantageous.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, implement, and oversee complex projects.
  • Problem Solving and Proactivity: Proven ability to identify and solve complex problems with a proactive approach.
  • Autonomy: Hard-working and capable of managing tasks and responsibilities independently.
  • Teammate: Comfortable in group settings and able to integrate into new environments seamlessly. Strong great teammate who collaborates effectively with colleagues.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of print and packaging production processes and industry trends.
  • Financial Foresight: Good knowledge of budget and financial controlling.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Collaborative Abilities: Ability to handle the needs and expectations of various collaborators throughout a project's lifecycle.
  • Time Management: Exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills to meet targets, even under time constraints.
  • Influencing and Conflict Management: Strong influencing skills to drive decisions and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Integrity and Trustworthiness: Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information and building strong working relationships.
  • Facilitation Skills: Proficiency in facilitating meetings and discussions.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate and assert ideas and decisions confidently.

Willingness and availability for occasional ad-hoc travel within Europe to attend meetings and client engagements is required.
