Job Description

What events are we talking about? Our portfolio is incredibly diverse - from summits to conferences, professional courses, sponsored dinners, and exclusive bespoke sponsor events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics: lead in managing logistics for our diverse event portfolio, including venue selection, coordination, and on-site management, ensuring smooth operations throughout. You’ll be supporting the wider team as well for any events they might own.

  • Collaborative Event Support: Assist in the collaborative design of events by liaising with operations, production, and sponsorship teams, integrating their input to enhance event experiences and optimise operational efficiency.

  • Research and Coordination: Conduct research on venues, suppliers, and production agencies, contributing to the development of local supplier networks and assisting in contract negotiations to secure approvals.

  • Event Execution: Contribute to the flawless execution of events, assisting in managing elements such as agenda, F&B, branding, AV setup, and timing, ensuring that events meet budgetary and quality standards.

  • Technical Support: Aid in managing online registration tools and event apps, ensuring technical aspects run smoothly during events to enhance attendee satisfaction.

  • Event Assistance: Provide on-site support during events, assisting with team preparation, liaising with third-party vendors, overseeing setup and breakdown, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to gain hands-on experience in event management while contributing to the success of our globally recognised events. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to dive into the world of event coordination, we'd love to hear from you!

Please note we would expect you in the London office at least once a week to be able to coordinate and collaborate at best!

Requirements:

If the below sounds like you - we’d love to hear from you:

  • You want ownership in your role from the beginning and ready to level up. Confidence to experiment with different tactics, shake up strategy, adapt to new trends, to incorporate business changes, or to bounce back from subpar results

  • You're passionate about using and understanding the data behind WHY things happen and use this to shape your campaigns

  • You take pride in crafting effective and engaging copy whatever the platform

  • You are naturally self-directed, operate at a high cadence, and get stuff done

  • You expertly balance and prioritise your daily to-do's, as well as your short-term and long-term planning

  • You are an extraordinary teammate always willing to jump in and offer support and say "yes" to taking on new things

Kindly be aware that this role requires regular international travel, including visits to the US. Candidates must have eligibility to travel to the US, preferably under the ESTA visa program.

Being a startup, things here move quickly. You’ll be thrown last-minute curveballs and will need to be adaptable. We enjoy it. We need you to, too.
