Job Description
Our Mission
The way companies reward their people today is broken - it's a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach that hasn't evolved to meet the demands of the modern workforce. How we work is changing, but compensation - salary, bonus, equity, benefits - has been stuck in the same place for decades. Ben is changing that, starting with employee benefits. Our mission is to make benefits and pay work for everyone, everywhere.
We have been featured in TechCrunch and Financial Times (to name a few) and we're super proud to be backed by some of Europe's leading VC funds including Atomico, Seedcamp, Cherry, and DN Capital and the people behind companies such as Indeed.com, Peakon, Personio, Wise, Workday, and GoCardless.
Your Mission
As a Talent Partner at Ben, you will be a key player in our growth through owning the end-to-end recruitment life cycle for your business areas. You will partner with our Hiring Managers throughout the Ben interview process, working to improve key recruiting metrics and ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
This role will work closely with our Commercial, Customer and Business functions and will suit someone familiar with these teams from an agency or in-house perspective. We’re a small but ambitious team, so if you are looking for your next step in Talent and love direct sourcing, business partnering & delivery, this could be a great role for you!
Things you will be working on…
Accountability for end-to-end recruitment hiring across all non-tech functions (i.e. Growth, Commercial, Customer, Operations, Finance, People etc). You will be the driving force behind identifying and attracting best in class talent for Ben!
Partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and assessments, building interview scorecards and optimising interview processes. You will provide the timely and regular updates and reporting on both hiring activity and market insights.
You will proactively prioritise, build and monitor talent pipelines, including being proactive in diversity-related sourcing initiatives.
You will effectively screen candidates and act as their candidate experience champion throughout our processes, including delivering feedback and coaching through interview stages.
Support the Head of Talent in key talent initiatives across the business that support our OKRs.
Be an ambassador of our employer brand. For the right person, there’s an opportunity to take on smaller initiatives in this space.
You will love this role if you have…
Experience in an in-house talent role or 2-3 years as an agency recruiter looking for their first internal talent role. You’ll generally be handling between 5-10 requisitions at any one time.
High EQ and interpersonal skills; you’ll be bringing together multiple stakeholders across our hiring process and support effective communication across our panels.
Excellent communication - you’ll be writing our job ads, building outreach campaigns and communicating with active and passive candidates daily, so it’s essential you’re a proactive and confident communicator.
A genuine desire to provide exceptional candidate experience; talent at Ben is not just a numbers game - we want all candidates to have a good experience with us, even if they’re not successful. Being able to deliver (and receive!) feedback constructively is essential.
Experience in building pipelines through a variety of tools and sourcing techniques. We would expect a good knowledge of LinkedIn, and using Booleans, but we can help develop more advanced sourcing skills too.
A passion for diversity, ensuring that we take proactive steps to encourage a diverse talent pool and support a meaningful approach to diversity, equity and inclusion through both sourcing and initiatives.
Drive and motivation to deliver great outcomes for our teams - recruitment has its highs and lows, so you need to maintain momentum when times are tough!
A real bonus, but not essential:
Content writing skills or an interest in smaller employer branding initiatives
Experience on coaching/training on interview skills
