Tesco Store: Fulham Imperial Wharf Express

Shift Pattern:Varies from day to day including earlies and lates but are planned in advance

As a Express Deputy Manager you will be working in a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same.

You will take ownership of store activities by running duty shifts, co-ordinating a team to deliver a clean and full store that exceeds customer expectations.

As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will be constantly looking for ways to improve service in your store through on the job coaching and feedback

You will have a great understanding of how your store is performing and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands on approach.

With your guidance, your store will always remain a safe place to work and shop.

Manage all routines and ensure the store is legally compliant

Delivering and sustaining store change activities, contributing to the wider business improvement plan

Producing schedules to ensure the store team is in the right place at the right time to serve our customers

Provide constructive feedback based on observations of interactions with customers, ensuring your team are inspired to deliver excellent service

Having a great knowledge of the stores performance and being able to identify and resolve then root cause of issues and deliver sustainable solutions

Provide training and coaching to ensure your team have the capability to deliver their roles.

You are natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of everything you do.

You act quickly, making decisions based on what is right for customers and colleagues.

You are a great communicator who is passionate about sharing your knowledge, experience and best practises with your team.

You take time to listen and understand others, building strong relationships with your colleagues and customers.
