In our busy caf�, the kitchen is where the action happens. It�s fast and focused. As part of this team, you�ll be right at the heart of it: preparing great food, keeping on top of orders, sticking to the menu, and making sure every plate that leaves the pass is something our customers will love.�

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of Our Cafe, the following provides an overview of the role�s key responsibilities and measures:�

  • Prepare, cook and serve food to our caf�s exact specifications, ensuring every dish looks and tastes as intended.
  • Know the menu inside and out, delivering consistent quality and keeping all food products available throughout the day.
  • Stay fully aware of orders and work efficiently in a fastpaced kitchen, keeping service smooth and timely.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations, completing daily duediligence records accurately and on time.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, keeping equipment, utensils and work areas spotless and safe.
  • Accept deliveries and store food safely, using FIFO stock rotation to keep everything fresh and compliant.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures, ensuring the kitchen stays safe, legal and wellrun.
  • Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with genuine care, supporting great service across the caf�.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally, passing key information to the Caf� Manager when needed.
  • Stay up to date with business communications, new initiatives and any changes to processes or standards.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Experience of working in a kitchen environment would be ideal
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.�
  • The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
