The role:

We are on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic Trade Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves strategizing and executing marketing plans to maximize brand visibility and drive sales through our various retail partners. The ability to communicate effectively, adapt to changing environments, and maintain a positive outlook will be key to this role.

In this role you’ll get to:

Direct Retailer Marketing

  • Implement business objectives via our Trade Marketing plans to generate sales and communicate key message of product/brand.
  • Develop launch materials / comms; support with product ranging and sell through.
  • Understand, interpret, and champion category, market, customer, and channel data; feed into category and commercial plans.
  • Actively track KPIs and report status of plan; identify and analyse areas of performance to better understand drivers. Respond to changes in market to update, evolve and implement new activities to achieve plan and objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external agencies to create breakthrough, distinctive content such as POS, digital, social, and e-comm, ensuring all content needs are fulfilled.
  • Establish and nurture excellent relationships with retailers to reinforce brand equity and drive sales.
  • Responsible for managing direct trade budget, ensuring the budgets are spent effectively and accurately reported on a regular basis.

Distributor Marketing

  • Support distributor partners to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Own relationship with tier 1 distributors from marketing perspective; provide marketing materials and support to help deliver marketing plans & support brand growth of Tangle Teezer and Pet Teezer.
  • Support with shift to digital-first marketing plans, whilst continuing to integrate across all channels.
  • Uphold global vision, positioning, and brand identity; translate global brand objectives into local product / comms strategies.
  • Champion cross-functional working; be the link between relevant teams to ensure strategy is applied & executed with excellence.
  • Foster and strengthen collaboration & knowledge between internal teams & distributor partners, via best practices; drop-in sessions and workshops; monthly meetings; & quarterly reporting
  • Develop best in class ways of working, developing efficiency in team & cross-functional processes.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Proven experience in Trade Marketing, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for persuasive presentations.
  • The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • An enthusiastic and positive outlook, with a responsible approach to managing projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A team-oriented enthusiast, ready to collaborate and share ideas.
