The Role

We are seeking a junior or/to midweight creative copywriter to join our in-house creative team. In this role, you will write on-brand copy for our US and UK social channels, and contribute to a variety of digital and print projects, working closely with Creative, Social, Marketing, eCommerce and Sales.

This part-time role is three days a week, ideally, you will be able to come to the office two days a week.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Write social-media copy that makes readers like, share and comment on our US and UK channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube & LinkedIn
  • Create engaging, on-brand copy for offline and digital channels including POS, banners, product descriptions and emails
  • Support the wider team by developing creative ideas and concepts that can be executed across various digital platforms
  • Work cross-functionally with different departments including social & e-com.
  • Bring fresh ideas and approaches when writing copy, ensuring a balance between creativity and the wider business goals
  • Work closely with our creative team to deliver cohesive and engaging digital and offline experiences
  • Stay up to date with current industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team. Regularly share inspiration from other brands and retailers.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Copywriting experience either as a freelancer, at an agency or in-house
  • Strong understanding and experience of the social media world and its platforms
  • A curious awareness of social media trends to provide unique and creative solutions to reach current and new audiences
  • Experience of writing for brands, with a solid understanding of how copy helps to build a brand
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of copy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting work, including social media, email, product descriptions, banners, and POS.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to react quickly to the changing business needs

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience writing for the American English market or you are a USA native speaker
  • Experience within the beauty or haircare industry is nice but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with Wrike or similar project management software
