As the Senior Manager of Talent Management and Development, you will lead the charge in building and nurturing a high-performance culture by developing and implementing talent strategies that align with our ambitious growth plans. The incumbent will ​develop and implement best-in-class talent management initiatives for Storyblok with a focus on leadership development, performance management and learning & development, in alignment with Storyblok’s strategic aims and objectives. As we are a fully remote company, innovative usage of digital tools to create a high-performing with a growth mindset is a must. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Talent Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a forward-thinking talent management strategy that supports the rapid growth and Storyblok's evolving needs in a fully remote set-up
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify the needed capabilities, identify gaps and address those gaps to ensure a strong pipeline of skilled professionals
    • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure we hire for the needed capabilities to strengthen our talented teams
    • Partner with the other internal Enablement teams (such as Sales and Partner) to establish synergies, ensure alignment in training efforts and avoid duplication of efforts or spending
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 3 Talent Management & Development professionals that will support the creation and execution of performance, learning & development strategies that foster a culture of growth and excellence
    • Provide guidance to the team to identify and execute needs assessment strategies across divisions and provide solutions on how to close identified gaps and how to measure impact and success
    • Lead and mentor the team to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and find innovative ways to leverage technology and create a best-in-class learning environment
  • Performance Management:
    • Collaborate with the leadership team and other People teams to optimize the performance management process, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and promotes continuous improvement
    • In partnership with the Total Rewards team, implement recognition and reward programs to celebrate and motivate high-performing teams
  • Leadership Development:
    • Design and implement leadership development programs that cultivate and empower leaders across levels
    • Support the team member in charge of Leadership Development to provide coaching and support to senior leaders to help them navigate challenges and maximize their impact on the organization's success
  • Learning and Development:
    • Oversee the design and delivery of innovative training programs that address skill gaps, support career growth, and align with the company's evolving needs
    • Evaluate and recommend external learning resources to complement internal development initiatives
    • In partnership with the other People teams, implement a career pathing and development framework that supports growth of individuals that go beyond of promotions or job changes
  • Talent and Leadership Pipeline:
    • Evolve our Talent Review process to identify and develop internal talent for key roles at individual contributor and leadership levels
    • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure a seamless transition in critical positions as the organization scales
  • Technology and Measurement:
    • In partnership with the HRIS team, ensure that the technology supporting the learning ecosystem fits seamlessly with the rest of the tools to create a great employee experience (from hiring to retiring)
    • Define a measurement framework and regularly assess and gather feedback to measure the effectiveness of talent management and development programs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior 6-8 years of relevant work experience, of those a few years of experience in leading talent management and development teams with a focus on scale-up environments, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing talent development programs, leadership initiatives, and talent pipeline strategies in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing work environment and adapt talent strategies to evolving business needs
  • Global mindset and experience in working with internal diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent English skills and understanding of working internationally as well as a strong sense of cultural sensitivity
  • Top-notch attention to detail, organization skills, including ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
