FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING

Als doorgewinterde Account Executive heb je een bewezen vermogen om complexe verkooptrajecten met middel grote bedrijven te doorlopen. Je hebt een diepgaand inzicht in de unieke uitdagingen en bedrijfsdoelstellingen van je klanten, waardoor je overtuigende, waardegedreven oplossingen kunt aandragen die resoneren bij zowel operationele teams als leidinggevend management. Dankzij je uitzonderlijke vaardigheden op het gebied van storytelling ben je in staat om op effectieve wijze te communiceren met belanghebbenden op verschillende afdelingen.

ESSENTIËLE VAARDIGHEDEN

  • Regionale groei stimuleren: Neem de verantwoordelijkheid voor het genereren van nieuwe Enterprise-klanten in het middensegment van de markt (jaarlijkse omzet onder EUR 1B) en draag bij aan het uitbreiden van de aanwezigheid van Storyblok binnen jouw regio.
  • Strategische planning en uitvoering: Werk samen met cross-functionele teams om Storyblok's go-to-market strategie te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren, om het maximale omzet potentieel binnen de regio te realiseren
  • Sales Leiderschap: Begeleid prospects tijdens het gehele verkooptraject door de innovatieve oplossingen van Storyblok te presenteren, afgestemd op hun unieke behoeften en uitdagingen
  • Collaboratieve verkoopaanpak: Werk nauw samen met de Business Development en Partner teams op het gebied van outbound verkoopactiviteiten die bijdragen aan het bredere succes van de verkooporganisatie
  • Zelf gegenereerde pijplijn: Genereer ten minste 20% van je pijplijn zelfstandig door eigen prospectie en proactieve marktbenadering
  • Onderhandeling en afsluiten van verkooptrajecten: Leidt onderhandelingen en stel concurrerende wederzijds voordelige overeenkomsten op
  • Navigeren door complexe verkoopprocessen: begeleid prospects soepel door het juridische en typische inkoopproces voor aankopen B2B SaaS oplossingen
  • Beheer van klantrelaties Koester sterke relaties met bestaande klanten en werk samen met het Customer Success team bij het identificeren van mogelijke uitbreiding en het verdiepen van de account waarde

OPLEIDING EN ERVARING

  • Minimaal 3 jaar in SaaS-verkoop: : Ten minste 3 jaar aantoonbare ervaring in de verkoop van SaaS-oplossingen, als Account Executive, met een goed begrip van de volledige verkoopcyclus, van prospectie tot het sluiten van een deal.

Bewezen succes in complexe SaaS-verkoop: Aantoonbare vaardigheden om complexe SaaS-deals te sluiten, constant doelen te overtreffen en omzetgroei te realiseren.Strategische account- en Territory Planning: Sterke ervaring in het in kaart brengen en uitvoeren van gedetailleerde account- en Territory plannen met als doel verkoopkansen en het omzetpotentieel te maximaliseren.

  • Expertise in verkoop methodologieën: Vaardig in moderne verkoop methodologieën zoals MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, Gap Selling, SPIN Selling, Sandler en andere, met een bewezen succes in het toepassen ervan om resultaten te behalen.
  • Relaties opbouwen: Bewezen vermogen om langetermijnrelaties met klanten op te bouwen, te cultiveren en te onderhouden
  • Technisch inzicht: Enig technisch inzicht in de werking van websites en moderne webtechnologieën, voor effectieve communicatie met zowel de technisch als niet-technisch doelgroep
  • Veelzijdige communicatieve vaardigheden: Het vermogen om communicatie en context aan te passen aan verschillende doelgroepen, zowel technische teams, productspecialisten als marketing stakeholders.
  • Regionale expertise en taal: Beheersing van de lokale moedertaal van de regio (Nederlands), met het vermogen om effectief te communiceren en een goede relatie op te bouwen met klanten.
  • Bereidheid om te reizen: In staat om te reizen binnen de toegewezen regio om relaties met klanten te onderhouden, deel te nemen aan belangrijke evenementen en bij te dragen aan het algehele succes van Storyblok.

Oostenrijk: De tewerkstelling is in overeenstemming met de collectieve loon- en salaris overeenkomst voor werknemers van “Angestellte von Unternehmen im Bereich Dienstleistungen in der automatischen Datenverarbeitung und Informationstechnik” ST1 Regelstufe (Vanaf 44.660 EUR/jaar). Wij bieden een hogere vergoeding afhankelijk van je ervaring en vaardigheden.

As a seasoned Account Executive, you have a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles with mid sized companies. You possess deep insight into your clients' unique challenges and business goals, enabling you to craft compelling, value-driven solutions that resonate with both operational teams and executive leadership. Your exceptional storytelling skills empower you to effectively engage with stakeholders across various departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Driving Regional Growth: Take ownership of generating new Enterprise customers in the mid-market segment (annual revenue under EUR 1B) and contribute to expanding Storyblok’s presence in your territory.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute Storyblok’s go-to-market strategy, ensuring maximum revenue potential in your assigned region
  • Sales Leadership: Guide prospects through the sales journey, presenting Storyblok’s innovative solutions tailored to their unique needs and challenges
  • Collaborative Sales Approach: Work closely with the BDR and Partner teams on outbound sales efforts, contributing to the broader success of the sales organization
  • Self-Generated Pipeline: Drive your own prospecting efforts, ensuring that at least 20% of your sales pipeline is self-sourced through proactive outreach
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and draft commercial offers, ensuring competitive and mutually beneficial agreements
  • Navigating Complex Sales Processes: Steer deals through the legal and procurement processes typical of B2B SaaS sales, ensuring a smooth path to closing
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients and collaborate with the Customer Success team to identify opportunities for upselling and deepening account value

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 Years in SaaS Sales: At least 3 years of proven experience in SaaS solution selling, as an Account Executive, with a strong understanding of the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure

Proven Success in Complex SaaS Sales: Demonstrated ability to close complex SaaS deals, consistently exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.Strategic Account & Territory Planning: Strong experience in mapping out and executing detailed account and territory plans to maximize sales opportunities and territory potential.

  • Sales Methodology Expertise: Proficient in modern sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, Gap Selling, SPIN Selling, Sandler, and others, with a track record of applying them to drive results
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise-level clients
  • Technical Acumen: some technical understanding of how websites and modern web technologies function, allowing effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Versatile Communication Skills: Ability to adapt messaging and context to different audiences, whether technical teams, product specialists, or marketing stakeholders
  • Language & Regional Expertise: Native-level fluency in the local language of the assigned territory (English and Dutch), with the ability to effectively connect and build rapport with clients
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel within the assigned region to nurture client relationships, participate in key events, and contribute to the overall success of Storyblok.
