Meet the team:

SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is SAP’s next generation cloud-based supply chain planning solution with several hundreds of customers. SAP IBP Foundation is at the core of SAP IBP, deliverying reuse functionality for all application teams with strong focus on quality and performance.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Team Product Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the development of SAP IBP Foundation solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for key core components such as configuration, transport, migration. This role covers the entire product lifecycle, including product delivery, prioritizing and describing the product backlog. Ensure the delivery of high-quality specifications according to customer and user requirements, with the goal of creating a competitive advantage for SAP. In order to achieve this you work in close collaboration with other teams in SAP IBP, such as release management, production, and governance.

Among product management skills, close alignment with technical experts is another key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product strategy and roadmap for SAP IBP Foundation
  • Define and prioritize features, creating clear user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team
  • Manage the product backlog and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Germany, Hungary, and the United States throughout the development process
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making and product improvements
  • Coordinate solution launches and present updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product value and features
  • Gather and incorporate customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of the solutions you own.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or consulting, preferably in supply chain software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate business problems into technical language and present technical details in clear, easy-to-follow business language
  • Experience with product discovery techniques and customer-centric design
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment
  • Proficiency in product management tools and SAP technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of SAP IBP, SAP S/4 HANA, and SAP ERP systems
  • Supply chain planning knowledge (e.g. SAP APO or SAP IBP)
  • Technical expertise with ABAP, AMDP, SQL, HANA 2.0, HANA Cloud
