Meet your team

Together with your team, you will work in the SAP Enterprise cloud Services with Technical Operation Unit ( TECH-OP) which is IT-infrastructure provider to the SAP Cloud Customers and is responsible for running SAP’s ECS External customer landscape as World class service provider for SAP products. In ECS we are building, managing, and running 3000+ customer landscapes in SAP DC and Hyperscaler like Azure, GCP, AWS with most advance technology. We are highly motivated and skilled engineers with locations in Germany, Mexico, India, and US.

What you'll do

In your role as technical consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the ECS customer for SAP innovative products. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing customers, and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure success. In your day-to-day you will

  • Understanding of enterprise network, DNS, infrastructure architectures and relevant working experience.
  • Understanding of customer cloud connectivity requirements, L4/L7 load balancers, firewalls on one/more Hyperscalers.
  • Working experience on Linux (SLES/RHEL) and Windows servers.
  • Working experience on SAP applications and databases (HANA, Sybase, MSSQL, MaxDB).
  • Basic understanding of micro-services, dockers and containers.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.

Are you analytical, self-motivated, and enjoy problem solving? Are you skilled in time management and task prioritization? Do you enjoy continuous learning and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment? If this sounds like you, do you also bring:

  • Certified Architect in at least one Hyperscaler (eg. Azure)
  • Expertise on the Hyperscaler Network and storage technologies.
  • Experience or knowledge on the migration to Hyperscaler
  • Strong knowledge on the Hyperscaler capabilities
  • Overall 15+ years of working experience on SAP and/or related technologies.
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken in English
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders within SAP.
  • Experience in managing the team of partners.
