We are looking for an experienced finance professional to build and lead a world-class team of Commercial Business Partners that support the strategic goals of sustainable growth and customer success across their assigned region.

The Role

Reporting directly to the GCF APAC Service Delivery Hub Manager, the SDH APJ South Manager will manage the team supporting ANZ, SEA, and India.

As a GCF Manager you are responsible for coordinating the correct assessment of Sales quotes, guiding Commercial Business Partners (CBP) during the deal lifecycle and monitoring the deal closure. You manage communication by proactively assigning and orchestrating the best resources from various teams who will shape and review deals, and collaborating with other teams to support Sales teams with their deals.

MONITOR AND ENSURE that deals (On-Premise/Cloud) are handled efficiently and timely, in accordance with internal deal approval and contracting procedures.

PLAN AND CONTROL the workload and collaborate with direct reports and extended teams, regardless of board area and function.

INFORM CBPs and extended team about system and policy updates and key information.

ALERT AND ADVISE SALES if there is something in the deal that poses a risk or compliance issue within the quote.

Your primary concerns are compliance, business accuracy, and internal and end-customer satisfaction, but also you must efficiently utilize the available resources to ensure SAP profitability.

You will use tools, including dashboards, KPIs, surveys and financial data to monitor and direct the performance of your market unit and team.

You will usually manage multiple deals simultaneously and must make quick decisions to ensure that the best deal support is provided.

KEY COMPETENCIES

COMMUNICATION SKILLS As a GCF Manager you must be able to give clear, concise instructions, listen carefully to requests from Sales teams, respond by speaking clearly, and to set expectations.

CONCENTRATION SKILLS You also need to FOCUS and prioritize the work for your team when multiple requests are being addressed to you.

DECISION MAKING SKILLS You need to make quick decisions, especially during quarter-end closing. For example, if a CBP requests advice, you should respond quickly to facilitate their work.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS You must be able to coordinate the actions of multiple resources, from your team and people from the extended team. You need to be able to prioritize tasks, and orchestrate different topics at the same time.

PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS You must be able to evaluate complex situations, such as the impact of deals on SAP revenue. Also, you must be able to review important information and provide Sales with appropriate solutions.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a leader and innovative thinker with a “can-do” attitude. You must be able to motivate your team and be results driven. If you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work under pressure and in virtual teams, you will be a good fit to the position. We are looking also for a self-motivated individual who focuses on quality and seeks solutions using their analytical skills. WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Working experience in a E2E Commercial Service related role (min. 2 years)
  • Experience working with a finance related field (min. 3 years)
  • Experience of people management and team leading (preferred, but not required)

This is a position that is offered in Manila, Philippines only.
