In Brno branch you will be part of SAP Labs Network.
SAP Labs are research and development locations that build and improve SAP core products. With 20 labs in 17 countries, SAP Labs drive thought leadership globally as well as in their local ecosystems, allowing SAP to innovate, grow, and succeed.
The Lab in Brno operates in four major development areas: Globalization Services, Application Innovation Services, S/4HANA User Experience and S/4HANA Finance directly supporting thousands of active SAP customers. Developers are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces.

The SAP Globalization organization is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our dynamic team in Brno. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to explore your developer skills in the fields of finance and payments. Our innovative products and solutions are utilized by numerous companies worldwide, making this an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge global solutions.

Your focus will be on handling of globalization topics such as internationalization, legal compliance, and best business practices to ensure that SAP solutions are ready for our customers worldwide in the SAP S/4HANA cloud and on-premise. Besides that, you will have a broad range of tasks to apply and strengthen your programming and product knowledge skills.

Your daily task will include:

  • Analyzing customer and country requirements and designing inventive solutions
  • Development in the SAP environment – ABAP or Java, Fiori UI5
  • Cooperation with colleagues locally and worldwide
  • Sharing in-depth knowledge and experience with direct and global team, provide leadership
  • Continuous learning of SAP products, the architecture, and principles of how they are built
  • Work in well-established scrum team

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in application development using any programming language, knowing SAP ecosystem and ABAP is an advantage
  • Experience with SAP Finance related to accounts payable and accounts receivable is an advantage
  • Good English communication skills to present the solutions to colleagues and customers worldwide
  • You should be self-motivated professional with the ambition to learn new things and contribute with your skills and ideas
  • Working in a highly self-motivated and reliable manner and applying agile software development principles.
