As a Data Scientist / Data Engineer, you will work within a strong international team of data scientists and data engineers to deliver top-grade machine learning-based cloud solutions into production. We solve real-world challenges posed by SAP's customers and product units with a focus on central platform services and infrastructure. You will work with SAP’s internal ML System, our Data Platfom and Machine Learning Environment, build agents and leverage LLMs. SAP has some of the richest data sets available in the industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Explore, understand, and implement the most recent machine learning algorithms and approaches.
• Help pull, shape and move data to make it available for Machine Learning purposes.
• Push the frontiers of what is possible in the area of machine learning with real data.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams of developers, designers, and business experts to develop solutions with real measurable customer impact.
• Help to ensure performance, reliability and ongoing improvement of our model deliverables in continuous collaboration with development teams.

QUAL YOU BRING:

• In-depth AI and data science knowledge, with a focus on deep learning.
• Knowledge about data bases, and scalable means to join and process data.
• Strong software engineering skills using Python and machine learning software packages such as Tensor Flow.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity and a drive to produce excellent solutions.
• Understanding of practical and privacy concerns surrounding AI development.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

Tech you bring:

• Mastery of Python and Python libraries for ML (e.g. Scikit Learn, TensorFlow, pretrained transformers)
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Your own vision on how SAP applies ML to improve.

TECH YOU'LL LEARN:

• The latest development in applied ML and AI in customer-facing products.
• Best practices for building functional and compliant ML and AI solutions.
