Responsible for driving our customer's transformation in line with their strategy. Driving change and transformation and realizing value, the Business Architect will consult with the customer on all types of services available, with the end goal of building the path into a digitized future for them, focusing on people, processes and systems.

Focusing on the realization of organizational transformation, this role requires a high degree of transformation management experience with a focus on advising customers and partners on their optimal approach to driving outstanding SAP implementation and continuous improvement in a business-as-usual function.

Core tasks include:

Acts as an Advisor to the customer to lead them towards the next step of IT-Services by providing holistic advice and guidance focusing either on the implementation of their technology roadmap and the subsequent consumption of their SAP software and services to the desired levels.

Assess the as-is situation as well as the business goals of the customer and provide a structured path towards overall transformation, as well as the relevant operational approach required for the implementation. Validates and optimizes the approach for maximum customer success.

Drive organizational and transformational change management across the transformation program. Translate the desired business and IT end-state scenario of the customer into actionable project steps for the implementation work.

Maintain key relationships with Business and Technology Leaders in the customer in order to jointly design the IT end-state and required Services/ Solutions to be implemented.

Coordinate with the different Services roles within the company (Consultants, Project Managers, etc) as well as Development and Sales organization where appropriate the delivery of the resources to implement the customer's road-maps.

Clarifies existing expectations from various stakeholders with the customer, especially in very difficult cases; creates a path to the solution which integrates diverse points of view and which serves as a starting point for future business. Collaborates with customer/ SAP team for the best possible implementation. Drives knowledge management and innovation activities based on this experience with customers. Documents successful approaches, tools etc., and makes them available to colleagues at SAP.

Defines and drives the transformation agenda in relation to the customer strategy and priorities with a focus on people, processes and systems underpinned by comprehensive change management.

Ensures that goals and milestones are met, and approved budgets are managed appropriately

Responsible for delivery of outcomes of complex and innovative functional issues integrating client needs, the strategic business goal of the function and financial objectives

Involved in directing the implementation and execution of functional business plans integrating functional and financial objectives Can make process and functional decisions and recommendations of a broad nature

Avoids escalation but also manages escalation appropriately

Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer & partner organization May include team lead or supervisory responsibilities

Manages projects of high volume or high risk/complexity Provides regular project status and updates

Experience
Extensive professional experience in the change and transformation of complex SAP implementations Deep knowledge of project management skills, ideally SAP Activate and RISE Methodology

Has professional qualifications or equivalent certifications

Shares in-depth knowledge and experience with direct team to enable decision-making and provide innovative solutions to complex business issues Works on complex technical projects or business issues requiring strong technical and transformational knowledge

Communication
Represents SAP to customers - is responsible for delivery of quality outcomes of projects of high volume or high risk. Positions SAP Services and Software to customers

Provides clear guidance and advisory services to the customer and partner and challenges embedded thinking when appropriate Finds common ground for cooperation within the project team to achieve the strategic outcomes and priority value drivers Formulates clear plans incl. milestones, timelines and sub-projects

Communicates messages relevant to the project in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to the project team Captures opinions and expectations of stakeholders and communicates them to the project team
