What you'll do:
The SAP Security Data & Platform Engineering organization is responsible for safeguarding SAP’s digital assets and information through a decentralized, scalable, and collaborative data security framework designed to enhance threat detection and response capabilities. Our mission ensures that security data is accessible, reliable, and scalable across various domains, thereby facilitating real-time analysis and decision-making using a threat-informed, data-driven strategy.
- Act as the Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure that the team can deliver high-quality increments.
- Manage Agile technical platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
What you bring:
SAP Global Security and Compliance are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Cyber Project Management and Agile methodologies to join our Data & Platform Engineering department.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a SaaS or product-based company
- Bachelor’s degree focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines or equivalent experience.
- Experience of the Atlassian Suite e.g. Jira, Confluence.
- Experience with Agile (SAFe Agile)
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) or similar Agile certification
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working with distributed teams and remote team members.
- Ability to interact with Senior Management including communication of release deliverables, development, and delivery KPIs, and other program status.
- Ability to coach the team on Scrum practices and Agile principles, and mentor individual team members.
- Proficiency in handling conflicts within the team and guiding them toward resolution.
