Job Description

As a Sales Operations Coordinator you will play a crucial role in managing renewals, and support and streamline processes to ensure the sales teams can maximise selling time. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of operational support, customer, and Google engagement to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations. You will have internal and external stakeholders and be aligned to (a) specific sales team(s) to ensure that you can get to know the customers, account managers and CSMs and work succinctly to ensure the customer sales journey is simple, efficient and profitable.

For this position, we require someone to based in commutable distance to one of our office locations (either Swindon or Manchester).

Responsibilities

  • Renewals Management: Coordinate the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring timely communication and documentation exchange. Work closely with the sales team to identify renewal upsell opportunities and strategize retention efforts.
  • Resell Coordination: Facilitate reselling activities by liaising with clients and their account manager, understanding the customer's needs, and aligning them with suitable products. Assist in generating quotes, managing contracts, and ensuring a seamless purchase and onboarding transition for clients.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales representatives to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product/service information as needed. Assist in the preparation of quotes, pricing proposals, customer pitch decks and reports to support the sales process and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate positive relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service, addressing their concerns promptly, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales lifecycle. Seek opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services based on customer insights.
  • Self Development: Proactively look for upskill opportunities within your area. Attend Google webinars and share resell and renewal updates with the wider business. Use this knowledge to propose solutions and improvements to the sales process. Ensure that there is a customer communication plan where necessary. Become a subject matter expert for the company CRM operational processes.
  • Document sales processes: Support and maintain ISO9001 compliant documentation to support the sales process and to ensure the efficient onboarding of New Hires.
  • Data driven CRM based strategy: Creating reports to support overall Business Intelligence and enable continuous improvement.

Requirements

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and building lasting relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, Google and external clients.
  • Proven experience in sales, sales support, operations coordination, or customer service roles.
  • Strong mathematical or spreadsheet skills. Ability to navigate a spreadsheet template and make adjustments to formulas is essential.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with using CRM systems is preferable.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is preferable, but not essential.

KPIs for this role include:

  • Retention Rate: The percentage of renewable net revenue that remains in the business.
  • New Business and Upgrade Revenue: Collaboratively work to maximise new revenue opportunities. Classified as New Business and Upgrade revenue in the CRM.
  • Sales Support Efficiency: Responding to customers within their SLAs, resolution rates for issues, and overall customer satisfaction via our support portal.
  • Revenue Growth Contribution: The contribution of sales operations support activities to overall revenue growth, including the impact on renewals, reselling revenue, customer retention, and acquisition of new business opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Positive feedback from key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Learning Days: Utilise learning days to upskill and enable you to propose and implement improvements to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Documentation: Quarterly reviews of documentation and user guides to ensure the latest processes are reflected.
  • Reporting: Timely and accurate reporting when requested.
