Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on organised administrator for our UK Region. You’ll be a key driver of the local engagement activities as well as coordination of general people and office activities.
Working location is flexible, however, given the office responsibilities, we would expect you to visit the Manchester office at least once a week and our other UK offices when necessary, where you will be the primary contact for the office facilities, coordinate local engagement activities, present company inductions and take a hands-on approach to office coordination.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all office activities, onboarding, offboard, benefit administration, handling general people queries and support with engagement activities for the UK.
You will be detail oriented, people focused, and take a hands-on approach to maintaining and improving our people administration.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of all aspects of office administration and office maintenance to ensure the business and employees are supported with office workflows so that everything is in good working order
- Key contact for the third party relationship with the office facility providers, and ensuring they are well informed. Providing the People Ops Lead with improvement options for facilities and suppliers.
- Responsible for the management of employment contracts, reference requests and right to work across the UK. Creating contracts alongside the wider onboarding process and managing contractor documentation and the renewal processes.
- Ensure the onboarding process for new starters is carried out in a timely and efficient manner, including creation of contracts, desk assessments, starting instructions, and carrying out engaging induction sessions.
- Benefit administration - Starters / leavers, amendments such as adding family and amending pension contributions.
- You’ll be detail oriented, ensuring we are compliant with health & safety, policy amendments, GDPR compliance, and contractual changes.
- Coordination of office social events alongside the social committee, to ensure we are actively driving the social strategy

Requirements
- Organised with excellent attention to detail, an eye for keeping things in order and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Experience working with spreadsheets and documents.
- An approachable individual, that is conscientious and has strong team ethic
- Experience working in People Operations (HR or Office Management)
- A proactive self-starter with initiative, asks questions and is willing to learn.
- Strong communicator, able to get your point across in a clear, concise way
- Enjoying switching between a variety of tasks and topics is essential for this role.
