Job Description

Picnic's mission is to create a more user-friendly, ad-funded web. With 70% of people finding digital ads annoying, brands are wasting ad spend on ineffective and potentially damaging ad experiences. We're a fast growing, founder-led start up, passionate about making digital ads work better for everyone.

As part of our growth plans, we are looking for our next sales superstar! An ambitious and highly motivated Sales Executive to join our excellent sales team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed and a natural talent for building relationships. While prior sales experience is not an essential, you must bring a hunger to learn, resilience and a passion for excelling in a sales environment.

This is a rare opportunity to grow your career alongside an experienced team, gaining hands-on experience in sales and learning the ropes from industry leaders. This role reports into our Account Director, Alex :)

Requirements

Sales experience is a plus but not essential. More importantly, you bring a hunger to succeed and a willingness to put in the work. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is Driven & Ambitious: Go-getter attitude with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets
  • Is Resilient: Ability to stay motivated and bounce back from challenges or rejection
  • Is a Strong Communicator: A natural ability to engage others
  • Is a Quick Learner: Eager to pick up new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Is a Team Player: A collaborative approach and willingness to support and learn from colleagues
  • Is Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools and other sales technology

What will you be doing?

  • Lead Generation: Identifying and connecting with potential clients through research, outbound activity and networking
  • Relationship Building: Build trust with potential clients, understanding their needs, pain points and how we can provide them with the very best solution
  • Opportunity Creation: Schedule and set up meetings for senior sales team members, providing them with well-qualified leads that you will be involved with along the way
  • Sales Support: Help to prepare brief responses, presentations and other materials to support the sales process and ultimately contribute to our commercial goals
  • Market Research: You will stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and potential opportunities building and growing your own skills
