Job Description
What do we do?
Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.
We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 3000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.
The Role:
We’re looking for a GTM Operations Analyst to join our GTM Operations team. It’s our job to support our commercial teams with data, insights, and tools to enhance efficiency and support our rapid growth. Our team acts as the essential link between our commercial teams and the business, ensuring alignment and enabling our commercial teams to excel in their roles, ultimately supporting Paddle’s business objectives.
The core of your role will be optimising processes, analysing data, and providing actionable insights to support Paddle’s GTM strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and leadership to solve complex problems and provide data-driven insights to better serve our customers.
What you'll do:
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to provide data, analysis, and insights to drive revenue growth.
Support our deal desk function by analysing complex datasets and providing actionable insights on deal sizing, pricing, and discounting.
Partake in monthly and quarterly commercial compensation calculations while ensuring a through-line between growing revenue and compensating commercial teams.
Analyse marketing and sales data to develop forecasting models, reporting, and dashboarding for commercial leadership.
Identify and work with the GTM teams to address operational inefficiencies, facilitating cross-functional improvements to streamline processes and enhance commercial team productivity.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, experimentation, and learning within the GTM Ops team.
We'd love to hear from you:
You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue operations, finance, or data engineering with a proven track record of problem-solving and process improvement.
You have demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
You have the ability to extract data with SQL, manipulate the data with Excel and Python, and provide insights to non-technical audiences.
You are proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions while being adaptable to fast-paced and uncertain environments.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
You have an eagerness to continuously learn and improve, embracing innovation and experimentation within the GTM Ops team.
Nice to haves:
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Fastspring, and Cleverbridge to understand the ecosystem in which Paddle operates.
Advanced Excel and Python skills to analyse and manipulate data with a commercial mindset.
Experience with Salesforce CRM
