Salary banding: £45,760 - £55,000

Where you’ll work:

Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.

You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

This role in a nutshell:

The Performance and Insight team aims to enhance understanding of operational performance, improve data accuracy and accessibility, and enable strategic transformation. They ensure clear and consistent reporting on business metrics for efficient decision-making, whilst architecting MI to highlight end-to-end performance and identify key drivers and bottlenecks. The team are focussed on innovation and collaboration, embracing new technologies such as AI and automation to optimise reporting and support stakeholder focus.

In this role you'll be leading the standardisation and delivery of key enterprise performance reporting, ensuring timely, accurate and insightful information is available to leadership teams and the Board. You'll coordinate with teams across the business to maintain consistent data standards, develop insightful commentary, and support OKR tracking and target setting. You'll play a critical role in translating complex performance data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Your key outcomes will be:

Within this role you will get to marry your skills in data analysis, business reporting and stakeholder management to create a best-in-class service that enables effective decision-making at all levels of the business.

Weekly Performance Reporting

  • Manage the weekly business performance pack, ensuring all contributors complete their tasks accurately and on time
  • Provide insightful commentary on business performance that ties back to overall goals
  • Highlight key updates and performance metrics related to top OKRs in regular stakeholder communication
  • Ensure all data and targets align with internal business reporting and standards
  • Provide updates to stakeholders on wins of the week of delivery initiatives that are driving OKR progress

Monthly Reporting

  • Ensure the monthly business progress review pack is updated with the latest data, goals, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with Pods to verify that Area Key Results (AKRs) align with set targets
  • Maintain Board performance dashboards with accurate data and aligned commentary
  • Triple check all data for accuracy before Board submissions
  • Prepare performance overviews for key supplier Quarterly Business Reviews

OKR and Target Management

  • Assist in coordinating in yearly OKR setting, ensuring alignment to strategic pillars
  • Work with teams to determine targets for top level OKRs and ensure understanding
  • Ensure all targets are updated across relevant reporting and data platforms

Continuous Improvement and Business Alignment

  • Collaborate with Analytical colleagues to move enterprise reporting into agreed visualisation tools
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency using AI and other automated tooling
  • Maintain a calendar of events, product launches and milestones
  • Engage with key stakeholders across teams to ensure alignment on service delivery goals

We’ll pay you between £45,760 - £55,000 depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
