Job Description

The Role

Here at one.fıve, we’re on a mission to reduce single use plastic impact on our planet.

We’re looking for a proactive, passionate, self driven individual to join our expanding business team and help share our mission; as well as build our brand and client portfolio in the exciting, emerging market of sustainability.

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Representative to drive growth and commercial interest across the business. The role involves generating leads, attending trade fairs, managing sales pipelines, and collaborating with various departments to drive business growth.

Given the remote first nature of our team, this role can be based anywhere in Europe (preference for DACH), but you will need to be available to travel to customer visits and trade shows when required.

How you'll help build one•fıve

  • Outbound sales leads! You’ll be pivotal in outbound sales strategies, including cold calling, sending introductory emails, and scheduling first calls with potential clients. You’ll help coordinate with the Ops team to aid in creating and sending product samples to prospective clients.

  • Lead Gen and Real Market Research! Identify and research new opportunities for growth within the sustainable packaging sector, as well as vital competitor analysis. You’ll leverage our CRM, other online tools, databases and networking events to bring in qualified leads.

  • Awesome trade shows and fairs! Help prepare, organise and attend trade shows, fairs and industry events (with support from our team). You’ll act as the company representative, building and maintaining relationships with potential leads as well as existing customers.

Who you are

  • You’re passionate about sustainability!

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in the sustainable packaging or sustainable product sectors.

  • Experience in organising and/or attending trade shows and fairs, with the ability to network effectively.

  • Strong understanding of outbound sales strategies and lead generation techniques.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (preferable Hubspot) and pipeline management.

  • Ability to coordinate logistics (e.g., sending product samples) with the operations team.

  • Additional languages such as French, Italian, or Spanish are highly beneficial (but not essential!).

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

one•fıve values

  • Duty to care: care for yourself, your colleagues, your work, our offices, and ultimately, our planet

  • Create with intent: work with a goal in mind. Ask yourself what you are trying to achieve and constantly evaluate whether your current path is the best way to achieve this goal

  • Acknowledge the process: we celebrate our failures and successes together, and keep iterating to improve

  • Transparency: all knowledge is accessible to everyone

Hiring Process

1. Application Review and TA Screen. Your application will be reviewed and if successful, one of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out and book in a 30 minute introductory Google Meets call.

2. Hiring Manager call: If successful, you'll move on to a more in depth professional call with one of our awesome hiring managers. Here we'll delve deeper into your commercial experience and aspirations, lasting around 1 hour over Google Meet.

3. Team call: If successful, you'll then move on to discuss current company culture and ways of working with other senior members of the team. To demonstrate your ways of working, you may be asked to present a small task to the team as part of your call.

You'll get the chance to demonstrate your awesome ways of working and how your skills and personality might complement or “add” to the current team while talking us through a practical scenario or two.

4. Final Culture and Values Call with the Founder(s). Providing you with a solid understanding of the future aims, values and aspirations of the company.
