Job Description

We’re on a mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. We do that through professional apprenticeships because we believe learning on-the-job creates a more equitable and successful path to careers. We find, train and support talented individuals, wherever they are in their career journey, and equip them with the in-demand tech, software engineering, and data skills to transform their careers and deliver a better route to growth for their employers.

We’ve had some big achievements. We hit 10,000 apprentices in our community - and counting. We launched one of the largest data apprenticeship programs in the UK with Jaguar Land Rover, and we’ve partnered with companies like Mars, Verizon and CitiBank. Not to forget becoming a mission-driven EdTech unicorn after our $220m Series D.

But we aren’t stopping here. Join Multiverse and build the future of learning at work.

The Opportunity

Our Learning team is responsible for shaping world-class apprenticeship programs in fulfilment of our ambition to build an alternative to university. We develop market-leading products, and create massive impact by unlocking the potential of underrepresented talent through applied learning.

We have an incredible opportunity for someone to join the Learning team in the next stage of our growth. In this role you’ll work on major strategic projects that will move the needle for the Learning team and wider business, ultimately helping us scale. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, who is able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunities for professional growth and building strong peer relationships. They will be detail-oriented, organised, and have excellent communication skills.

Specifically, you will:

  • Problem solve with data: Carry out analysis to empower leadership in setting the product strategy

  • Drive product excellence: Work closely with Learning Product Managers, Curriculum Designers, and Assessment Designers to codify best practices in to our playbook and operationalise these practices, including driving culture change where required

  • Enable product improvement: Coordinate feedback loops with our Sales and Coaching team to drive product improvements

  • Own project management: Own project management within the team by collaborating with senior stakeholders and outside partners/regulators to ensure smooth running of key strategic initiatives e.g. establishing digital credentials for alumni, rolling out new assessment techniques, redefining the product strategy

  • Manage senior stakeholders: Coordinate between multiple stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives and the smooth functioning of the business, as well as acting as a point of contact for other teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries

  • Build our team’s culture: Support leadership in cultivating our team culture e.g. organising socials

About you:

  • You have 2+ years experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (e.g. consulting, start up/scale up). Here, you’ve worked in roles where you’ve lead projects to solve novel problems

  • You are data driven and analytical. You are a confident problem solver and enjoy finding solutions to complex challenges, presenting solutions to your managers alongside the challenges

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and finding “good-enough” solutions to urgent problems. You have a track record of bringing order to ambiguity and you’re excited to do it again.

  • You communicate effectively, you know how to build strong, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders, and connecting people is something that comes naturally to you

  • You’re skilled at synthesising information and navigating varying stakeholder viewpoints to identify a path forward

  • You are highly organised - you can keep on top of multiple competing priorities without dropping the ball, whilst supporting your colleagues in also staying on track

  • You have strong attention to detail - you spot when there are things out of place, and put plans in place to fix them with minimal input from others

You align closely with our values and care about scaling the Multiverse mission

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days and 8 bank holidays per year
