Job Description
We’re on a mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. We do that through professional apprenticeships because we believe learning on-the-job creates a more equitable and successful path to careers. We find, train and support talented individuals, wherever they are in their career journey, and equip them with the in-demand tech, software engineering, and data skills to transform their careers and deliver a better route to growth for their employers.
We’ve had some big achievements. We hit 10,000 apprentices in our community - and counting. We launched one of the largest data apprenticeship programs in the UK with Jaguar Land Rover, and we’ve partnered with companies like Mars, Verizon and CitiBank. Not to forget becoming a mission-driven EdTech unicorn after our $220m Series D.
But we aren’t stopping here. Join Multiverse and build the future of learning at work.
The Opportunity:
We need an exceptional User Researcher to contribute to the future direction of our Multiverse product, to ensure we are continually challenging who gets access to the best careers. You’ll be working with peers in Engineering, Product, and Design to build new products and features for the client companies who host our apprentices.
No two days at Multiverse are the same, so we need someone who is comfortable with the unknown unknowns. If you are inquisitive about the ‘why’ we do things, you live to prove and disprove hypotheses and you’re keen to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment, we’d love for you to join us during this exciting growth phase.
Specifically, you will:
Design, plan and conduct end-to-end research: from recruitment to moderation, analysis and reporting
Model insights gained from user research into formats to enhance organisational understanding of our users – such as personas and user journey maps
Work closely with our product team to turn user insights into actionable requirements that feed into Product strategy
Promote user-centric conventions and best practice across the organisation
Create research artefacts and communicate these to the rest of Multiverse
Be an advocate for our users within Multiverse
About You:
3-5 years experience managing, executing and analysing qualitative research sessions
Excellent presentation skills for delivering insights in various formats
Understanding of user interface/user interaction design conventions
Proven experience of analysing both quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, and applying research to achieve quantifiable impact
Experience of working in an agile development environment
You align closely with our values and can share examples of how you have demonstrated them
Salary Information:
The base salary range for this role is $143,250-$160,000.
