Job Description

We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.

We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.

We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

Join Multiverse and help us set a new course for work.

The Regional Director, Specialist Sales is a first-line leadership role, with the remit of designing, hiring and managing a team of Technical Program Specialists. This is a brand new function for Multiverse as we expand into new untapped markets. Technical Program Specialists will be responsible for building, iterating and developing our enterprise customers to invest in Multiverse’s advanced technical and HR programs. They will act as overlay sellers, partnering with Account Executives to unlock opportunities within their accounts leveraging these product suites.

You’ll play a key role in designing the team’s playbook from scratch, collaborating cross-functionally to understand our customer needs and build processes. You’ll hire, build and drive your team, driving results by fostering a culture of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience of designing and building a sales or sales overlay team in high-performance MEDDPICC environment. This role sits within Multiverse’s go-to market (GTM) team and reports to the VP of Strategic Alliances. This is a quota carrying role.

What You'll Do

  • Build the playbook: Spearhead efforts to enter untapped markets, driving 0-to-1 growth selling UK levy products into a CHRO, CTO, and CIO audience, in collaboration with our existing sales team.

  • Recruit and lead: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of five Technical Programme Specialists, ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed ambitious growth targets.

  • Hands-on leadership: Join customer meetings alongside your team, lead training sessions, run deal reviews, and drive strategic planning to maximize opportunities.

  • Drive excellence: Cultivate a culture of accountability and high performance, ensuring consistent execution of the sales playbook (MEDDPICC) and achievement of team goals.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to build processes, deliver outstanding client solutions and foster strong feedback loops to improve offerings.

What You'll Bring

  • Leadership experience: At least 3+ years of success as an enterprise B2B sales individual contributor (direct or overlay), combined with multi-year experience leading high-performing direct or overlay sales teams, ideally in a MEDDPICC environment

  • Proven results: A history of exceeding sales targets, managing complex deals, and driving team success through data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaboration skills: A strong communicator and influencer, capable of aligning cross-functional teams and fostering lasting relationships with clients.

  • Passion for innovation: Motivated by breaking new ground, with a track record of identifying new opportunities or entering new markets from scratch

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days and 8 bank holidays per year

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Gympass and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid & remote work offering - Flexible working in our London office (3 days per week) and the opportunity to work from abroad (up to 45 days a year)

  • Team fun - weekly socials, company wide events and office snacks!
