Digital Growth Strategy & Operations Manager

Employment type:  Full time

3–4 days/week at home

A little flex time

Job Description

We’re on a mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. We do that through professional apprenticeships because we believe learning on-the-job creates a more equitable and successful path to careers. We find, train and support talented individuals, wherever they are in their career journey, and equip them with the in-demand tech, software engineering, and data skills to transform their careers and deliver a better route to growth for their employers.

We’ve had some big achievements. We hit 10,000 apprentices in our community - and counting. We launched one of the largest data apprenticeship programs in the UK with Jaguar Land Rover, and we’ve partnered with companies like Mars, Verizon and CitiBank. Not to forget becoming a mission-driven EdTech unicorn after our $220m Series D.

But we aren’t stopping here. Join Multiverse and build the future of learning at work.

The Opportunity

TL;DR: Multiverse is looking for an exceptional Manager to join the Digital Growth, Strategy & Operations team to support the critical marketing infrastructure that supports Multiverse’s growth engine. This includes, but is not limited to, building out and optimising our marketing operations stack, analysing trends to determine marketing campaign effectiveness to improve ROI, and partnering with the marketing teams and leading strategy projects to further accelerate our growth engine. To excel in this role, you will need to be analytically-driven, willing to get deep into the weeds to find answers to critical business problems, while also being collaborative as you work closely on cross-functional projects with Marketing, Sales, and Sales Ops teams. This role will report directly to the Director of Digital Growth.

  • Execute on critical business analytics requests in partnership with Marketing teams (e.g., dashboard builds, reporting for QBRs, etc.)

  • Build and iterate on our marketing operations stack (e.g., CRM, workflows, lead routing, etc) – identify and implement improvements to our existing workflows and processes to improve efficiency for our marketing teams.

  • Translate our ever-evolving business requirements (from Marketing, Sales, Growth, etc.) into scalable solutions, either by leveraging our marketing technology stack or implementing new processes across the organisation.

  • Provide key ad-hoc analyses (e.g., funnel optimization, ABM performance, propensity to buy models, etc.) to help the management team refine/adjust the strategy as needed.

  • 4+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably at a technology company or consulting firm; previous roles may include GTM or Sales Strategy and Operations Lead, Marketing Insights Lead, etc.

  • Proficient in handling and analysing large data sets utilising Excel and/or Google Sheets, bonus if you have experience with SQL!

  • Experience with leading CRM platforms (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc) and experience creating C-suite-level dashboards within said CRM platforms

  • Demonstrated experience with data visualisation tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, etc.

  • Process and operational thinking: you can tackle a problem independently and quickly iterate to a solution, and then also document it in a way that's easy to understand for all audiences.

  • You are a clear, effective communicator and are excited about working in a diverse, distributed team

  • You can communicate complex problems and analyses simply to stakeholders across all levels, departments and between both technical and non-technical colleagues

  • You have a positive-sum mentality - you’re equally excited about both rolling up your sleeves to get something done and reflecting on the bigger picture

  • You are passionate about social and economic mobility and the goal of ensuring that all candidates have equitable access to apprenticeship opportunities

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Gympass and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid & remote work offering - with weekly or monthly visits to the London office and the opportunity to work abroad 45 days a year

  • Team fun - weekly socials, company wide events and office snacks!
