Our Thailand office has a strong track record of supporting many infrastructure and energy projects across East Asia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Structural Engineer to join our transport team in our Bangkok, Thailand office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global consultancy, drawing on international expertise while gaining hands‑on experience that helps deliver meaningful outcomes for the communities where we live and work.

This role will see you:

  • Carry out structural design for foundation, steelwork, RC structures and bridges/viaducts.
  • Preparing structural briefing, specification documents, and tender documents.
  • Provide design sketches and reports for schematics, detailed design development, and construction phases of projects.
  • Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis for statutory submission.
  • Liaising with other disciplines to ensure designs are coordinated with other infrastructure requirements.
  • Coordinating with consultants, sub-contractors, and cross-office project teams to facilitate the design works and make sure the design is fully coordinated.
  • Attending technical / progress meetings with clients and cross-office project teams (as needed).

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years’ post‑graduate experience within a consultancy environment, with a strong preference for experience in underground infrastructure or deep excavation projects. Prior exposure to bridge design or renewable energy structural projects would be an advantage.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer with Council of Engineers, Thailand, or equivalent internationally recognised professional bodies, would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in 3D structural design and analysis software i.e., Robot, ETABS, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, SAFE, MIDAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of relevant international and local design codes and standards, particularly the Eurocodes.
  • Understanding of local authority requirements, including regulatory and authority submission process in Singapore.
  • Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with Clients, government authorities, agencies, global project teams, and Contractors.
  • Proven experience with BIM tools and project delivery in a BIM environment.
  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and support the team in achieving project deliverables and milestones
  • Willing to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in English.
