About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.

Overview of the role

Join us to help shape and grow the future of transport in Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Highways Lead who will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding our transport portfolio across Ireland and the UK.

  • Provide strategic oversight of project delivery, ensuring quality, profitability and client satisfaction
  • Lead, coach and grow a multidisciplinary team, enabling them to deliver excellent technical outcomes
  • Collaborate internally to align capability with market demand and future opportunities

What you'll contribute to the team

You will have significant autonomy and accountability for growing our highways and transport portfolio in Ireland.

You will be commercially responsible for pipeline development and revenue growth, leading client engagement from early opportunity through to successful delivery. This includes:

  • Managing and developing key client accounts
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Leading the preparation of bids, tenders and strategic proposals
  • Shaping market strategy and contributing to business planning

Alongside this, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects through your team, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are met.
