Resident Technical Officer (C&S)

The candidate will possess a civil and structural engineering background with experience of supervision of midrise structure projects, contiguous bored pile (CBP), precast, steel, ERSS, piling and all associated construction works.

  • To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance with the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
  • To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping, and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the co-ordination of Contractor’s works with Consultants and any external parties like neighbouring contractors and utility companies.
  • Assist Consultants/client in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site
  • Ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with the contractors/sub-contractors in the coordination of site works
  • Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and irregularities to Consultants
  • Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness, and tidiness of the site

About You:

  • Candidate must be a registered Resident Technical Officer with IES
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications.
  • At least 10 years site supervisory experience in educational institutional, commercial or related projects.
  • Civil, structure & geotechnical works knowledge.
