  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration, resolve design conflicts, and ensure alignment between disciplines.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to clarify requirements, address technical issues, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver technical support in client-facing and project environments and an ability to work collaboratively within project teams.
  • Support design development and production of high-quality technical documentation including reports and memos and perform and support QA/QC processes for trackwork and system deliverables.
  • Engage with and contribute to professional industry organizations and actively participate in and support Mott MacDonald’s Rail Practice initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+years demonstrable experience in rail and transit projects, and a working knowledge of industry design standards and best practices.
  • Demonstratable experience in trackwork design, and ideally rail systems engineering, with experience in coordinating rail and systems design and engineering interfaces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related transportation field from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or actively working toward licensure.
